Jewelry Stories from A Wish for Home

Thank you so much for joining me today for a new edition of Jewelry Stories! I’m so excited to share this book and these designs that have been in the works for a long time. 🙂

Last year, Harlequin Love Inspired introduced a new trade paperback fiction line that would feature full length stories written by some of their current authors. A Wish for Home by JoAnn Brown was the introductory novel for this new line, and I was privileged to read and review it last year.

Take a peek at three excerpts from the book that are featured below along with their matching designs. I’ll see you at the end with some back story on each design.

When her parents had jumped the fence and Lauren had entered a public high school, she’d had to take a crash course in the common cultural references everyone else took for granted. She’d read every fairy tale and watched endless Disney movies in an effort to figure out what her new classmates were talking about.

Forgiveness is something you give. It says so right in the middle of the word.

“‘. . .be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.’ She’s learned well. Why haven’t you?”

Ahhh, some sweet lines there and I’m a little partial to these three designs. 😉 I also love the book’s cover with all its flowers and spring feeling (maybe because I’m ready for winter to be done)!

The first excerpt appeared very early in this story. Strangely enough, I had just purchased these princess charms before reading this book, and there was no doubt in my mind that they were perfect to pair with this book. The Forgiven Pendant Necklace is one that I’ve had in my mind for a long time now, but there weren’t too many shops offering this particular shape for me to purchase. Patience was my friend there. It has a very similar theme to the Forgiven Necklace that was featured here, but I don’t think we can be reminded too much of how much we’ve been forgiven. Forgiveness and kindness are both common themes with all Amish fiction. The Be Kind Bangle is a twist on another similar bracelet that was created recently, but the styles are very different.

I hope you have loved today’s post with these excerpts and new designs! If you want more photos or details on any of the items I’ve shared today, simply scroll back up and look for the link under each photo.

I hope you’ll stop by next time for another Jewelry Stories! Who knows what I’ll feature next? As always, if you’d like to get notified of future Jewelry Stories, take a minute to sign up for my email list so you can get notifications when that next post goes live.

Until next time!
