Serious meets romantic in this fun rom-com by Beth Vogt! To be honest, it’s been years since I last read one of her books, but this one checked all the boxes in what makes an enjoyable read for me. There were so many laugh-out-loud moments throughout, and the chemistry between the two MCs was perfection. As much as they tried to avoid seeing each other in person, there was always something or someone throwing them together. The last quarter of the book was a roller coaster ride, but it was a beautiful one. The title fit the story in a perfect way, especially when explained in the final pages. Recommended…

A Wedding Blunder in the Black Hills Book Review
What a charming contemporary romance! I loved the premise of two main characters trying to pretend that they’re dating so their nosy mothers will stop trying to set them up on dates. They’re pretending proved to be futile as they slowly start to develop feelings for one another, and as I furiously turned the pages, I loved every minute of it. This story had a little more depth than most contemporary romances. Millie had a lot of baggage – like A LOT – and believed that she was doomed to continue a family cycle of leaving/quitting/giving up when things got hard. OH MY GOODNESS! Where do I begin?! I was so sure that I wasn’t going to like this book. It started off as a very s-l-o-w read for me, and I had a time trying to get all the characters straight.
