Red Coral Lady Cameo Pendant

Description

An attempt at honoring a famous necklace belonging to Eleanor Roosevelt.

This pendant features numerous elements, all loosely attached to an 18″ antique gold chain.  At the bottom is a gorgeous ivory lady cameo on a faded red/white background and surrounded by clear rhinestones.  Attached above are a single red coral bead, an acrylic cream flower bead, and a brownish-gold faceted Czech glass bead.

This design was inspired by the following passage in Saving Mrs. Roosevelt by Candice Sue Patterson –

“A few silver spoons and a coral necklace of Mrs. Roosevelt’s. Her butler confirmed the items missing. The First Lady was furious when I told her.”
