Long Antique Gold Beaded Butterfly Necklace

Spring and fall – two seasons rolled into one with this one-of-a-kind butterfly necklace.

Measuring approx. 30″ long including the lobster claw clasp, this antique gold necklace has lots of unique features that will make it a very versatile piece for you to wear.  At the very bottom, you’ll find a large butterfly pendant set in an antique gold bezel.  It is attached to a short length of chain which is covered in a fun mix of beads and charms.  This section is attached to a hammered circle connector.  On the other side of the connector are two sections of 5 beige howlite beads that have been individually strung and attached to the remainder of the chain.

This design was inspired by the following passage from This Wandering Heart by Janine Rosche –

“You know how it feels when you see a butterfly flitting around your garden as if it doesn’t have a care in the world? And the pride you feel when that butterfly suckles nectar from a flower you’ve grown? That’s how I feel about her.”
