Silver Horse and Carriage Fringe Ribbon Bookmark

Description

This velvet ribbon bookmark measures 10″ long which is the perfect length to slide into a trade size paperback novel. One end features a gray/black Czech glass bead along with a silver horse and carriage charm. On the other end is a silver stardust metal bead, a gray/black Czech glass bead, and a silver teardrop charm with a clear rhinestone set inside.  The ribbon has a shabby fringe edging, but is sewn on each side to prevent fraying.

This bookmark was inspired after reading the following passage from 12 Days at Bleakly Manor by Michelle Griep –

A lacquered carriage, with a fine pair of matched horses at the front, stood near the curb. Curious. Perhaps the owner had taken a wrong turn, for Highgate, while shabbily respectable, was no Grosvenor Square.
