This navy velvet ribbon bookmark measures 10″ in length, and is the perfect size for a standard size paperback book. On one end is a silver airplane charm. On the other end are three individually attached beads – a silver metal bead, a gray glass faux pearl, and a blue/multi-color faceted glass rondelle bead topped with tiny silver bead caps.

This bookmark was inspired after reading the following passage from Becoming Mrs. Lewis by Patti Callahan –

“Yes, we were spared the bombs–Hitler planned on making Oxford his own and he wanted to save it. We’d watch the planes head here and then veer to the left or right using the river as their guide.”
