Pink Flower and Fabric Tassel Beaded Book Thong

A totally feminine and dainty bookmark – perfect to slip inside your next book. 🙂

This beaded book thong is made of a strand of pearl-colored seed beads. On one end is a tiny bright pink flower charm. On the other end is an off-white fabric tassel charm with a gold filigree bead cap attached above.  Both ends have two different sized glass faceted beads in a lovely champagne color that are individually attached to the bead strand.  The beaded strand that fits inside the book measures 10″ long, but the total length from end to end is 14-1/4″.

This bookmark was inspired by the following passage from A Dance in Donegal by Jennifer Deibel –

Reaching into the cuff of her sleeve, she retrieved her handkerchief. She didn’t take time to admire the dainty needlepoint flowers her mother had embroidered on the corner, along with Moira’s initials.
