Green Shamrock Plaid Ribbon Bookmark

A bookmark with a theme that’s as Irish as the book that inspired it.  🙂

This bookmark is made from green and cream plaid ribbon and measures 10″ long, the perfect length to slip inside a trade paperback book.  On one end is an olive green glass pearl with a silver heart charm with a tiny shamrock design in the center.  On the other end is a gorgeous green faceted glass bead with lots of luster and shimmer!

This bookmark was inspired by the following passage from A Dance in Donegal by Jennifer Deibel –

Moira stooped and plucked a lone shamrock from the middle of the path, twirling it absently between her fingers. Studying its delicate leaves, she marveled at the tiny thing’s tenacity and sturdiness. . .
