This whimsical beaded bookmark immediately invokes the spirit of a simpler time and place. It is made of a 10″ piece of white grosgrain ribbon with a scalloped edge. On one end is a silver windmill charm with movable blades. On the other end is a collection of beads – a silver flower metal bead, a gray faux glass pearl, and a pale pink Czech glass tulip bead.

This design was inspired by the following passage from Chasing Shadows by Lynn Austin –
