Brown Wooden Button Bookmark

This bookmark is made of a strand of navy blue hemp cord which measures 11″ long. At one end is a dark brown wooden button, and on the other end is a mix of antique gold metal beads and bead caps alongside a dark blue dyed jade bead.

This bookmark was inspired after reading the following passage from The Finder of Forgotten Things by Sarah Loudin Thomas –

She held her hand out, and he placed a dirt-crusted wooden button in it. . . “I had forgotten this. It has been gone for–” she bit her lip and looked up–“two springs. It is two springs since my Noah lost this from his coat.”
