Jewelry Stories from Price of Privilege
Hi friends! Hope you are enjoying a great start to a new year, and that it’s already been full of some great books. 🙂 I have been sitting on today’s design for (ahem) longer than I’ve wanted to, but I’m hoping you’ll love it just the same.
Having read books 1 and 2 from this series not long after they were originally published, I knew the time had come for me to finish it. One thing that was different with this book was that I listened to an audiobook rather than read it in print, and I suspect that may be why I didn’t enjoy it as much. Some books are made to be read page by page (I think this would have been the best way to read PoP), yet other books can be brought to life in new ways when narrated. While I didn’t love this third book as much as I did the first two, it provided me with satisfaction that I had finished the series.
Unfortunately, I don’t recall anything related to jewelry in books 1 or 2, but the mere mention of a locket in book 3 was all I needed to include Price of Privilege in a Jewelry Stories post. I hope you will enjoy the excerpt below and the locket necklace that follows!
As I mentioned in my review, this series was published when Regency novels were exploding on the Christian fiction scene. Since then, there are hundreds of new novels available featuring this time period, and the jewelry opportunities are endless! I have had this particular locket in my collection for several years, and while I could’ve added it to my shop shortly after I obtained it, I’m glad that I waited to attach it to this book. To me, it fits perfectly. 🙂
I have a few one-design Jewelry Stories that will be releasing in the next few weeks, plus some special collaborations with authors that I can’t wait to share, too!
