Small Antique Gold Heart Locket Necklace

Almost too cute for words!

This dainty necklace features a simple antique gold heart locket engraved with flowers.  It can hold two tiny pictures inside or anything else tiny that would be a special keepsake.  It measures 1/2″ square and hangs loosely from an 18″ antique gold chain.

This design was inspired by the following passage from Strength in the Storm by Laurel Blount –

“A little thing, no bigger than a stamp. Made of gold. A locket. It opened up, and you could put pictures in it. Women wear them on necklaces. It was pretty, had little flowers carved in it. He said it had belonged to his grandmother, and he wanted me to have it. It had his picture in it on one side.”
