Silver Beaded Lantern Earrings

Description

A dainty pair of earrings inspired by this Appalachian tale.

Tiny silver lantern charms dangle below two tiny iridescent blue-green faceted glass beads. Earrings measure approx. 2″ in total length including the nickel free earwires.

This design was inspired by this passage from The Finder of Forgotten Things by Sarah Loudin Thomas –

The only sounds were the chunk and thud of shovels slicing into soil and piling up dirt, along with the occasional call of a night bird. Calvin lit a lantern as the night drew close around them. The air cooled, making the work a little easier.
