Mussel Shell Stretch Bracelet

Description

A lovely mussel shell stretch bracelet surrounded by peach freshwater pearls.  The mussel shell bead is vintage and has shades of black/brown, pink, purple, and cream.  Each mussel shell bead is uniquely designed, but will be a close match to the one shown.  Bracelet measurement is approx. 7-1/4″ long.

This design was inspired by the following passage from Tidewater Bride by Laura Frantz –

“Watseka soon had an apron full of ribbed mussels so common alongshore. She held out her dripping apron. ‘Tshecomah.‘ Selah nodded, thinking Watseka’s native word more winsome. ‘Shells.’”
